The Specsavers team appealed to kind-hearted customers throughout November to support the annual appeal. Filled with gifts such as toys, school supplies and toiletries, the boxes will now be distributed to disadvantaged children around the world.

‘We’re so proud to be supporting Operation Christmas Child again this year,’ said Barry Henning, store director. ‘Christmas is a time for giving and I’m sure these gifts will help to put a smile on children’s faces in disadvantaged parts of the world this Christmas.

VASL volunteer drivers dropped off  12 boxes  and as you can see, Specsavers in Harborough have got quite a few more!
