My Mind Matters is a Mental Health Wellbeing and Recovery Service funded by;

VASL My Mind Matters Project, Harborough

We can support you to maintain and improve your mental wellbeing; to live a meaningful and valued life within your community. We support people who are experiencing mental health distress and need guidance, information and support.

There are 3 levels of help available from these services


  • Information and advice about mental health and local support
  • Assistance to help you access support and services

Community recovery support for people who have a diagnosed mental health condition.

  • This service is geared towards supporting people help themselves and develop personal resilience, promote mental wellbeing and self-confidence.
  • Recovery workers will work with people on a one-to-one basis or in small groups to support people work on aspects of their life they want to improve.
  • These services are free.
  • People can refer themselves to the service by directly contacting the local service or by asking their  GP or other health or social care professional to refer them.
  • To be eligible for this service your GP needs to confirm you have a mental health condition
