Carers Tea Blitz

Market Harborough Support for Carers Trip to Blitz Tearooms Kettering July 2017

27 carers enjoyed an afternoon of fun and scrumptious food at the 1940’s themed tea rooms

The 2 mini buses left Market Harborough and we all soon got into the mood by singing along to songs from the era, chatting and laughing at each other in our headscarves and tommy helmets

On arrival we were greeted by the friendly staff, serving us with great big pots of tea and an abundance of beautiful homemade food

Fortunately the tea wasn't rationed

Comments received on the afternoon were all very positive saying what a wonderful time they had had and how much the treat was appreciated, and the difference it had made having an afternoon out.

We would like to say a big thank you to

Market Harborough and The Bowdens Charity for their generous donation
