Musical volunteer wanted!

We need a volunteer to visit someone in a rural village of the Harborough District. He is very musical, plays a number of instruments, writes his own songs, listens to music, watches films, he used to have dogs but no longer. He is recently bereaved when his mum passed away who he was very involved in supporting.

This gentleman had a stroke not long ago and now has aphasia which affects his speech – he finds it difficult to speak, find the correct words, and struggles to communicate, it also affects his writing. He has a slight mobility problem due to the stroke too, as it affects his right side. He is trying to get back on track e.g. learning to play guitar left handed, but needs someone that is patient and kind to give him time to talk or is willing to do other things e.g. listen to music together without the emphasis on the need to converse, to visit for about an hour per week.
