Do you need help to get online? Posted on Tuesday, 29 March 2022

If you are over 60 and live alone in Harborough District, our volunteers will help you to use a tablet, a smartphone or a laptop/pc.
We have helped people eg:

  • to add phone numbers to the contacts,
  • to attach a photo to an email,
  • to organise emails into folders
  • to download the app for the NHS
  • to find websites

We can also help if you have been given a tablet or a smartphone and want to know more about what you can do with it, although that will probably be more than one session!

Our volunteers will be at Market Harborough Library on 6th April and Lutterworth Library on 11th April, we have regular slots on the first Wednesday of the month in MH and the second Monday of the month in Lutterworth.

You need to book an appointment and give us some information about the help you need, ring 01858 439262 or email champions@vasl.org.uk.

It isn’t a repair service, but we can help you to use the devices.

There is more information here about our digital volunteers, including information about home visits.
