We’re recruiting VASL Trustees Posted on Thursday, 12 January 2023
TRUSTEES – VASL (Voluntary Action South Leicestershire) Market Harborough
VASL is a local charity based at Torch House in Market Harborough. We provide a range of excellent services to the communities of Harborough District, and support for family carers across Leicestershire. Our services aim to reduce loneliness and isolation, improve health and well-being and provide transport for the less mobile.
Volunteers are key to the way we deliver our services. One key volunteering role is that of Trustee. Our Trustees have responsibility for the longer term development and planning of the organisation, financial planning and oversight, and ensuring our services continue to be developed and delivered to a high standard.
Our Board of Trustees meets every two months; it is made up of people with a range of experience and skills. We are now looking to further strengthen the Board. We would particularly welcome applications from those who would help to increase our diversity and/ or someone with experience in Health and Social Care.
We are committed to diversity, equality and inclusion in all we do and aim to ensure that the composition of the Board of Trustees reflects our local communities.
These posts are unpaid but reasonable expenses will be paid. Applicants will be asked to submit a CV, complete an application form and a short skills audit.
