We normally offer transport for Community Champions’ events which include our clients, but we do need to know one week in advance that you are joining us.

Please let us know that you are attending events even if you don’t need transport so that we can make sure that we reserve enough space for us all.

Good Old Days

Tea Dance/Bingo/Tea (over 65s)

2 to 4.00pm on: Please note this has been a quarterly event but the next one should be September but this has not been confirmed.

IMG_6222Onyx Cafe Lubenham

It is run entirely by village volunteers and there is lovely cake, tea/coffee and local produce available. Jenny and I can recommend the blueberry cake !

Each month they raise money for a different charity so if you need to chat someone, and want to help a community cause it’s a good place to consider. Everyone was really friendly.

Age Concern Lutterworth’s events for older people

About: Age Concern Lutterworth & District is a small independent local charity and has been helping older people in the area for the last 53 years.

The Listening Team and Friendship in Loss

Weekly drop in for people who are going through bereavement and a monthly lunch for those who have been bereaved in the last year

Cream Teas in Kibworth

At 2pm on the first Monday of each month The Well hosts a cream tea for Senior Citizens, transport is available, see their website for more information about the whole range of activities they offer.

Board Games

Games Together in MH Library every Wednesday afternoon.

Join others in a friendly game of Scrabble, Ludo, Chess and more. Drop in anytime between 1pm and 3pm!

Scrabble Club at Lutterworth Library every Tuesday from 1pm, free.

No need to book for either venue, just turn up!

Gentle exercise, often described as ‘moving meditation’,  the class is led by Best Life which offers ‘ A helping hand with long-term health conditions’.  £5 per session
