Our VASL Car Scheme provides transport for elderly, disabled or rurally isolated people who can’t use, or have no access to public transport. Details of how the scheme normally runs can be found here, but we have not been able to operate during the pandemic.
However, from 12th April we are able to offer some long distance health related journeys and trips for vaccinations. We will be able to offer more journeys as our drivers receive their second vaccinations and return to volunteering.
We have made some changes to make sure that we are covid secure including wearing a mask in the car.
