Navigating grief can feel deeply isolating, but you do not have to carry it alone. The LOROS Bereavement Hubs offer a compassionate, safe, and confidential drop-in space where you can find comfort and understanding during a difficult time. Organised by LOROS, these sessions are designed to give you a supportive environment to speak openly about your loss, share your thoughts and feelings with others walking a similar path, or simply sit quietly with a hot drink. There is no pressure to speak if you don't feel up to it; it is simply a place to find community, mutual peer support, and helpful information on managing grief.
The hubs are warmly open to anyone aged 18 and over who has experienced the loss of a loved one. Please note that these sessions are available to all bereaved individuals, completely regardless of the cause of death or how much time has passed. Whether your bereavement was recent or many years ago, and whether or not your loved one was cared for by LOROS, you are welcome here.
No Appointment Needed: These are strictly drop-in sessions. You do not need a referral, an appointment, or any previous connection to LOROS—please just come along whenever you feel ready.
Information & Guidance: Alongside peer support, you can access literature, resources, and signposting to further bereavement services if you require professional, one-to-one counselling.
Cost: Entirely free to attend, with hot drinks and refreshments kindly provided.
The LOROS Bereavement Hubs offer drop-in sessions that aim to provide those who are bereaved with a place where they can access information, talk to others and share their thoughts and feelings.
