About the Event

The Poppies Memory Café offers a relaxing, warm, and completely non-judgmental space designed to support those living with dementia and their loved ones. Our sessions are all about connection, comfort, and community. Visitors are invited to take part in a variety of fun, light-hearted activities and gentle reminiscence therapy, which can help stimulate precious memories and spark wonderful conversations. Above all, it is a safe place to enjoy a warm cuppa, share a laugh, and receive guidance and support from our experienced, caring team.

Target Audience

This group is specifically for individuals living with dementia, memory loss, or cognitive challenges, as well as their dedicated partners, family members, and carers. We understand that navigating dementia can sometimes feel isolating, which is why this café focuses on peer support—giving you the chance to meet others on a similar journey, share experiences, and realize you are not alone.
