Balancing a caring role with the demands of everyday life, family, or career planning can feel like a massive juggling act. Our Working Age Support for Carers group offers a highly flexible, relaxed space designed specifically to fit around your busy schedule. Hosted online via Zoom, this monthly virtual meet-up allows you to log in from the comfort of your own home, completely removing the hassle of travel or arranging respite. It is a brilliant digital space to connect with other working-age carers, share practical coping strategies, chat about everyday life, and receive immediate support and expert guidance from the VASL team.
This group is strictly aimed at carers of adults (aged 18+) across Leicestershire who are of working age themselves. Please note that you do not have to be actively employed or in full-time work to attend—this group is simply tailored to the unique life stages, challenges, and pressures faced by younger and working-age adults balancing significant unpaid caring duties.
