We have been celebrating Volunteers’ Week at VASL. Some volunteers have received certificates or thank you cards and everyone was invited to a cream tea at the Methodist Church in Market Harborough.
As always there was a lovely atmosphere as old friends met up, introductions were made, and some volunteers recruited in the last two years were seen for the first time.
One volunteer who had emigrated to New Zealand but still writes to her pen pals was able to join us as she is on holiday here for a few weeks.
Thanks to the members of staff who baked and provided cakes, it was a lovely afternoon, so good to be back together.
