You may remember the very handy transport guides which VASL produced with support from Harborough Integrated Locality Team in September 2019 which had all of the local transport providers and their contact details.
Since then we have had a spell where no one went anywhere, but now the guide has been updated to show the current situation. As you can imagine there have been some changes during the last three years.
The guide is particularly useful if you live in villages in South Leicestershire where transport can be a real issue. It is designed to be printed as we know a lot of people can’t access information online.
Our own VASL Car Scheme can provide lifts to local hospitals and care homes as well as some social trips, thanks to our wonderful volunteers. We are also offering trips which are very popular.
