We were delighted when Mrs Henrietta Chubb JP, the High Sherriff of Leicester attended our Harborough Carers’ Group last month to present a Volunteer Award to Pauline Kirk.
Pauline has been volunteering with VASL for ten years and is well known to carers as she makes her regular calls to remind them about the groups. We know that the calls are much more than that, as Pauline shows great concern for everyone.
Pauline also helps at the Carers’ Cafe organised by Market Harborough Rotary Club on the third Sunday of the month.
Thanks to Mrs Henrietta Chubb JP, the High Sheriff of Leicestershire who has shown great interest in VASL during her year in office.
