6th-12th June is Carers’ Week, and Carers are an important focus of our work here at VASL. Our Leicestershire Support for Carers team provides a telephone helpline, a newsletter and monthly groups for carers to meet up both in person and online.
This year’s theme is ‘Make caring visible, valued and supported’
We are planning two face to face events for carers, plus an online forum, to celebrate Carers Week 2022.
Monday 6th June at the Salvation Army Leicester South, Ladysmith Road, South Wigston – to include light lunch
Tuesday 7th June online over Zoom
Thursday 16th June at Age UK Gloucester House, Melton Mowbray – to include light lunch
