Would you be able to donate a little of your time to help a really deserving group of Young People?
Harborough Young Carers Group which is now run by HCYC exists to give Young Carers a break from their caring responsibilities and a chance to meet other youngsters to try some fun activities.
The group meets fortnightly on Tuesday evening in Market Harborough with Young Carers from all over South Leicestershire, all of them are affected by caring for a parent or sibling.
VASL is looking for Volunteer Drivers who live in or near Market Harborough to give Young Carers a lift to and from the group, you will be supported by a second volunteer. Petrol costs are fully reimbursed.
This is an ideal opportunity if you work full time but are still looking to make a difference by volunteering.
